Why a midwife?

Thames Valley Midwives contacted Clickonology to create a new Responsive website to replace the old numb static website.

Above: The new website has all the modern technological features, SSL security, SEO, Google Analytics and a fresh website that changes to respond to the device you are using – mobile, tablet or laptop.

Above: The old website was great in it’s day but lacks many of today’s standards and functionality.

Thames Valley Midwives now have a login system to protect on-call details of the midwives and give extra information to their clients.

If it is snowing badly, clients can go to the webpage and see instantly if their clinic is still open.

Above: On a smaller screen, with the old website, the menu and part of the website are cut off. Scrolling is the only way of seeing the rest of the content. Even the baby in the picture is mystified!

Thames Valley Midwives’ new website not only has an automatically adjustable menu but the whole of the website is redesigned for whatever device you might be using.

Mobile phones browsing and searches are becoming way more popular than desktops or laptops. Thames Valley Midwives’ new website has the ability to phone or email at the touch of a cellphone screen.

So why a Midwife?

Well a Midwife looks after mother and baby during pregnancy, during labour and makes sure both stay healthy for a period after birth. They are not just the doctor who sees the mother for the birth.
